Dear Affiliates,

It is with sadness to inform you that after the Minister of Basic
Education's address and a document issued to all Heads of
Schools, we have no choice but to cancel the 2020 Eisteddfod.

In light of the Minister's address, a unanimous decision was taken by the
Nelspruit Eisteddfod Executive Committee to cancel the 2020 event.

We will keep you informed on future developments as we move forward through

these challenging times.
